- #Raqqa (IRW) – #ISIS announced on Thursday evening the killing of sixty fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces, following an operation carried out at one of the sites of SDF in the eastern countryside of Raqqa.
ISIS said in a statement that three groups had stormed into a camp near the village of Karama east of Raqqa, killing fifty-three fighters and injuring others, and damaging two armored vehicles. A fourth group stormed in another site of SDF and killed 7 fighters.
ISIS noted that one of its fighters in the operation was killed while the rest returned safely.
This comes in conjunction with the progress achieved by progress achieved by SDF yesterday at the expense of ISIS in the city, in conjunction with intense bombing of the US-led coalition which has killed forty-eight civilians and wounded dozens.
